At Smailing Tour DMC, we believe that travel is also about creating genuine connections with the communities that make every destination special. With that belief, we proudly partnered with Pencil For Kids. A community initiative supporting children education across the world.
Their mission to provide essential school supplies, helping children access the tools they need for a better learning experience and a brighter future. Last month (July), that purpose came to life. Hundreds of backpacks made their way into the hands of children across Bali, especially North Bali. Every backpack was carefully prepared with school essentials including notebooks, pencils, crayons, and other learning materials.
Why We Chose To Partner With Pencil For Kids?
Every meaningful collaboration begins with a shared purpose. Our partnership with Pencil For Kids was inspired by a common belief that education should never be determined by circumstance or geography.
Education is one of the strongest foundations for a community's future, and every child deserves the same shot at learning, no matter which part of the island they call home. By supporting this initiative, we hoped to contribute in a simple yet meaningful way toward creating a more equal learning environment for children who may need additional support.

Bring Smiles Across Bali
Together with Pencil For Kids, we worked directly to the ground, supporting the distribution and helping ensure every backpack reached the children across North Bali.
As we travelled across North Bali, each stop became more than a delivery point. It became an chance to meet local children, connect with their communities, and witness firsthand how a small gesture could bring genuine excitement.
The experience wasn't just about handing out supplies. It was about the smiles on the children's faces and the laughter shared along the way. Those simple moments reminded us that meaningful impact is often created through human connection rather than grand gestures.
