We’re Official Members of IDSC, Strengthening Our Commitment to Sustainability

We’re thrilled to announce that Smailing Tour DMC is now an official member of the Indonesian DMC Sustainability Collaboration (IDSC). Joining this network further demonstrates our strong commitment to sustainability, reinforcing our dedication to making travel greener, more responsible, and aligned with global best practices.

Why IDSC Matters?

  • IDSC was established to promote the application of sustainability and health & safety principles across destination management companies (DMCs) like ours.
  • By joining IDSC, we gain access to a community of like minded travel companies committed to sustainability, data driven practices, and continuous improvement.
  • This membership strengthens our credibility and allows us to benchmark, learn from, and collaborate with industry peers, ensuring that our efforts are not isolated but part of a broader movement toward sustainable tourism.

How This Connects with Our Roadmap Towards Net Zero?

As you may know, back in April 2025 we launched our “Roadmap Towards Net Zero” a bold initiative to reduce carbon emissions, adopt greener travel practices, and support sustainable tourism.

With our new IDSC membership:

  • We reaffirm that sustainability isn’t just a marketing slogan, it’s embedded in our operations and partnerships.
  • We align ourselves with rigorous sustainability standards (through IDSC) while implementing concrete steps on the ground (through our roadmap).
  • We reinforce our commitment to reducing emissions, offering eco-friendly tours, and promoting responsible travel experiences in Bali and beyond.

Looking Ahead, Our Vision for Sustainable Tourism

Joining IDSC marks a milestone, not an endpoint. With this partnership, we are doubling down on our long-term vision:

  • To continuously reduce our carbon footprint and reach, step by step, our Net Zero goals.
  • To lead by example in Bali’s tourism industry, inspiring others to join the path toward responsible travel.
  • To offer travellers experiences that are not only memorable, but also environmentally respectful and socially responsible.

We invite our clients, partners, and community to join us on this journey. Because sustainability isn’t just one company’s responsibility, it’s a collective effort for the future of our planet and the places we love.
