A New Gateway to Paradise: AirAsia Launches Direct Flight from Da Nang to Bali

Great news for travelers and travel partners across Southeast Asia! AirAsia has officially announced a new direct flight connecting Da Nang, Vietnam and Bali, Indonesia, opening exciting opportunities for leisure, honeymoon, and cultural travel starting March.

This new route brings two of Asia’s most beloved destinations closer than ever, making island escapes and multi country itineraries more seamless and accessible. The new direct service will eliminate the need for transit through major hubs and significantly reducing travel time. This direct route is ideal for both Vietnamese travelers exploring Indonesia and international visitors combining Vietnam and Bali in one journey.

The new route is set to commence on 20 March 2026, strengthening regional connectivity across Southeast Asia.

The Da Nang–Bali direct service will operate four times a week, with flights scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The average flight time is approximately four hours, providing a smooth non-stop journey without the need for transit.

  • Denpasar - Danang: 14.15 - 17.55PM
  • Da Nang - Denpasar: 18.25 - 23.55PM

What does this mean?

With the new direct Da Nang–Bali flight, travelers from Vietnam can access Bali faster than ever, enjoying its cultural highlights in Ubud, iconic beaches in Nusa Dua, Seminyak, and Uluwatu, as well as wellness escapes and adventure experiences across the island.

Bali also serves as a strategic hub for onward journeys to Lombok, Labuan Bajo (Komodo), and Java, making it ideal for multi-destination itineraries. This route creates strong opportunities for Vietnam-focused Bali packages, honeymoon and luxury travel, short and long stays, and MICE programs.

We welcome travel partners to collaborate with us in building competitive, high-value products supported by seamless connectivity and reliable on ground services.
